Kit-chen Cat-astrophe

Missing image

This icecream's a treat to be sure,
and we'll lick very fast to get more...
but the trouble will rise
with this glass's small size
as we work our way down to the floor.

Our heads are both fluffly and round,
but our whiskers and tongues whiz around
procuring the most
to be able to boast
we had the best part of this mound.

We don't want to give up this fight,
so will push on with all of our might;
then we'll see what transpires
(maybe rescued with pliers?)
from this vessel wot's everso tight!

This is just delightful! And such an adorable picture! I love your wording, images and rhyme in this.
My 2 demon cats would prob. break the container..lol.....I did once have a goat that got his head stuck in a food bag.......his horns ripped into the paper and lodged! ....animals sure can provide humor in life.....
I much enjoyed this. Congrats. on the HM.

Usually, it takes a broom and dustpan and a mop to clean up the mess, more than pliers. Though there was a time, my cat got her head stuck in a jar of kitten treats.

Lol...thanks for the comment. Actually I was imagining them both getting stuck (like your cat obviously did!), hence the pliers.

This is a delightful poem in response to the picture. Kittens apparently plan ahead no better than do people! Just like us, these two are sure to find cooperative ventures fail as returns against resources diminish.
I especially enjoyed the rhyme of the last internal couplet of these Limerick verses.
Note: Is "will" in line 12 supposed to be "we'll"?
