Scents of broken roses
And a wisp of broken love
And a thousand useless doses
Of rain falling from above...
Kisses came less often
And secrets turned to lies
As the look I strove to soften
Only hardened in your eyes.
Solitude brings solid fear.
A silence on the phone
Tells me that you're never here
Always, I am alone.
Give me a reason. How can it be
That our bond was so estranged?
The only words you gave to me
Tore my soul: You've changed.
Author notes
Was it him or was it me? I feel an urge to blame the latter.

This poem has such meaning and emotion. Its an everyday common problem but you have worded it to show its true feeling. The rhyming flow was a little rough though but besides that it's an amazing poem.
