I've lived the past few years in fear
Always thinking that person is near.
I feel marked and scarred, even broken.
That horrendous act remains unspoken.
Sometimes I feel like I can't go on,
As if I'm nothing but a useless pawn.
But that was before you entered my life,
When it was filled with internal strife.
Now its easier with you by my side,
No longer in the shadows do I have to hide.
Although I'm still scared and always will be,
I find the strength to carry on with your love to guide me.

This is about something that happened to me almost four years ago and the only thing keeping me going is my girl alyx, lexicats, and her support

Love it!
I personally think this poem is a very easy read because you can catch the direction it's going in easily. There wasn't anythign I didn't like honestly.
