Lave

cradle
made by
spilling my core
I-your Mother
I-the fiery womb
break open
spewing forth
new life
written with 'blood'
of flowing stone.

'Lave' - Is also an archaic word meaning 'wash'.

    Visually volcanic...

fantastic image and choice. Spewed heat in creativity, erupting from the unseen depths. I believe the word is Awesome!

I love the way you have rhymed 'womb' and 'stone', finding it subtle but working so well to hold it in completion. They are also like a contrast which yet again adds to this simple but very clever 'device'.

How often to we think of this daily activity, unless we are seismologists.

Thank you so much for bringing this richness to us.

    Sol
