Sturdy, strong and solid
It's kind of surprising isn't it
The shoulder I mean
It can hold a head, car or
Heck it's been known to host the weight of the world
And the great thing is I have two
So pull over and park
Because I've been known to have full days free
Both ears included
I'll just ignore the paper I wasn't writing
And you can mute the TV I wasn't watching
Because those things will be done later
As each of your lead tears fall
And each broken word is sobbed
I'll catch the slack on one
You lean on the other
As the car that was parked, is towed away to be fixed
See, my shoulders produce results
Who do you think relieved Atlas from his post
Just shove my junk from it's place
"TO BE IGNORED" stamped in bold
Because you, yes you stranger, friend, acquaintence
Sister, brother, unidentified sobbing person
Can take precedence over my minor scrapes
Author notes
Well I can't really say much. I just wonder about the title...and the rest of the poem. Whatever you have to say is very much welcome.
