Eyes,
of an empty purse,
sought glitter
before the storm passed,
drowning,
in stardom's greed

Thank You!!
Thank You for Your entry: Before The Storm Passed
This piece tugged hard at Spirit and while I was reading which I did several times~ I was being shown for some reason a truck- hearing words: Chevrolet also Ford- and sounds like reference to 16- and feels like thousand- wholesale
Strange as it sounds, I remember another person writing a piece where I got a similar image- it seems like for this image after reading Your words...I was getting a moving reference
Wild as it may seem I kept seeing the owl from that tootsie roll commercial- and hearing reference to one-two-three whether metaphor or symbolism-
and also getting name: Joan Crawford-
Hopefully that makes some sense
Wonderful take on the prompt-
Powerful images You have brought forth
These words grabbed and pulled~
Eyes of an empty purse...
Unique Voice spoken~
Thank You for sharing Your Heart also Spirit!
Best wishes to You in the contest Sweet Soul
**Judging will be done shortly...
Many blessings too
and much love & light~ Desire~*~
