The heart may carry burdens
that make us want to cry,
it's good to let go of emotions
and let the rainstorm by.
God's love is in a rainbow
that appears after the rain,
its colors a peaceful feeling
that takes away the pain.
Happiness doesn't always show,
at times we feel down,
there's a special glow inside
even if we wear a frown.
We look for the rainbow's end,
searching high and low,
it can be found inside of us,
a happiness we come to know.
The rainbow is a sign of hope,
and it will see us through,
an angel watches over us
and blesses me and you.
A rainbow's treasure comes from God,
a gift that warms the heart,
never give up with the loss of hope
for He loves us from the start.
