Nothing compares to this dog’s loyalty,
he only wants to serve and be hugged.
He shares his love with a deformity
and gives of himself and is beloved.
Performing goodwill to the community,
all who view him become deeply moved.
To a child with disabilities, he offers hope.
A heartfelt gift demonstrates they can cope.

This is a beautiful write, Charley. Wonderful flow and good message throughout the poem. Dogs are very loyal animals and it's great when people who need that extra love in life can find it through their dogs. Thanks for sharing and best of luck in the contest.
