We long for peace,
That wars may cease,
The hungry fed,
The poor given their daily bread.
O that we would be content with less,
So those around the world
Who hungry go to bed,
May have their fill.
We pray for peace...
See it in the face of a child,
In the golden sunset,
Or the beauty of a flower.
Help us translate the love of God
Into a million acts of kindness,
Reconciliation between sworn enemies,
Hurts healed, broken lives restored.
I know this is big prayer to ask, Lord,
But let your peace begin in me;
May I always carry the peace of your
Indwelling presence wherever I go.

I definitly long for peace and often times struggle with it. That's why my favorite Bible verse is Col. 3:15, helps me alot LoLz
