Carousel Ride

Climbing aboard the carousel

to choose an animal to ride

Each one looks so inviting

satisfying to my stride

 

Around and around the carousel goes

as the rhythmic music is played

Up and down the animals go

sensually the soul is layed

 

Enjoying the fantasy of life

the animals go round and round

Secured to a pole from sky to earth

time has them physically bound

 

Climbing down from the carousel

from a ride I enjoyed indeed

My mind flows to the time of return

when my desire is sensually freed

    This seems to me to be quite metaphorical and lyrical as well. I kind of made up my own tune and sung the poem, very nice. Nice job on the BG and a beautiful pic as well.

    far from the raucus Merry-Go-Round scene,
    to a much more romantic setting,
    letting the imagination ride...
