OK just for the record the picture is composed of many parts. The ocean and clouds being the only real elements and they are from different sources, the caves is painted and the lightning added...

This picture is outstanding, works really well. Did you try placing the title on the bottom? I like that it's off center. The font seems tame compared to the picture.

when designing covers allowances for other information needs to be met, predominately the Authors name, publishers logo sometimes quotes from reviews are added. So I purposely didn't separate the title but it could have been placed at the bottom. The cover conveys a harsh look so the font was meant to soften it just a little. Its easer to design a cover to a specific need, often your given a list of criteria that needs to be met so working blind is a bit like running in the dark so I take a what if approach and hope for the best.

Oh my! Now this one is very mysterious and almost “taboo” it calls to me to start flipping through its pages to find the forbidden secrets that was written there just for my eyes. Yea, I’d buy this one without even looking at the price, because from the looks of the cover, there are some scandalous tails/poems for me in there. Excellent work!
