A butterfly with paint upon its wings,
A tiny bird with no voice to sing,
A solo dolphin in a tiny pool,
That little child within us all.

As ever, I am not sure what to make of this....
It describes how I - and I am sure some other people - sometimes feel.

TY. Because I have been through a time of stress leading to writers block, I have struggled to find my feet a bit. This really expressed a little of how i feel.

Sometimes we do feel smaller than our circumstance, but then again there's always the "man in the cell". Hope you get the oblique reference I am in a strange mood. Hope everything starts looking up for you soon. You still write lovely, short, insightful poems. Thanks for that.
