Look for me in nature; Look for me in words.
Look in libraries and all the records that you've heard.
I ain't there.
I am somewhere way up ahead.
Traveling hard and fast, just to keep up with Woody,
and the road that we're on.
Once I traveled solo; once with a band.
Been running my whole life like a lizard in the sand.
Sang on corners and once from a truck.
Been down out and given up; completely out of luck.
Once I traveled with Tom Petty; once with the Dead.
Jerry was always honored,
(or at least, that's what he said.)
But still I am nowhere
closer to my home.
Feel like I'm traveling light; left here on my own.
So look for me in jute joints or some ole saloon.
Under a hat, getting out of jail.
Or just howling at the moon.
I'm somewhere down the road.
Look before I'm gone.
'Cause I'm right her , but won't be long.

I nice tone within this piece. I think the direction went a little slow but was a very mood and powerful ending to leave the reader with.
