Soul Longings

Missing image

When on the road to "freedom"
I asked what freedom is,
as I found the path rocky
where others before me,
and others beside me
kicked stones along the path,
at times blocking my way.

My soul knew all along
what freedom really is,
as I felt my inner muse
stirring, and I knew then,
as I heeded, it was time
to allow my soul's freedom,
and have faith it could fly.

As my soul was enriched,
my path became smooth, and
the way was clear and focused
as far as my eyes could see.
My soul is now fed for the essential
nourishment of us both, and for

the sustenance of our true destiny.

And I learned what it is to really be free...
