Her Crown Is Her Passion

Her crown is her passion and also her name. Not mortally martyred, but neither ashamed of claiming her same, saving Savior--defamed, then raised and ascended to glory again. A pen or a pencil and paper she wields, or keyboard to say what she thinks, sees and feels. Appealing to something within us so real, it seeks the concealed, that it may be revealed.

This same bright young mind behind bright young eyes was first to suggest a name she'd surmised would be apropos and appropriate. So, she gets the first nod of acknowledgement.

Unfashionably living with passion, 'tis true. Her passionate living cannot be refused. Passion in the life of her writings bemuse, but none of these should we mistake or confuse with the metaphor she has chosen to channel through YouTube. A picture of passion alive. An image of living emotion did dive headfirst into my request for a name. Her initial idea and mine were the same. But 'twas not to be, when the end judgement came. I've called him a ball from a billiards hall game.

Author notes

The reason I joined this site was because of a young lady who goes by the pen name "Living Passion". She hasn't signed on here since 26FEB, but she is partly responsible for anything I've written on this site. Except for tributes, this site is where I've done any writing at all, for the past few years. The piece above was actually a tribute I wrote for her out of gratitude. I had a puppy naming contest on YouTube, and had very few entries. So I wrote tributes to all who entered, even if I didn't choose their puppy name. I had a very bad copyright related experience with poetry daht calm, and it took Living Passion's encouragement to get me to trust another site with my work online. Thanks LP, for bringing me here to AP. God Bless You Forever, My Sister, My Friend.

And thank you, Sister Light, for giving me this opportunity to share my tribute to LP. May you be blessed abundantly for enabling others to honor yet others.

Christ's Love,
Sincerely,
Marvin J.

      She's a good writer...

...but I think she's chosen to mostly write on some other site, these days. In any case, anything I derive from this site that's good, I can thank my YT friend Stef. So now, I can add another thanks to her; due in part to her original prompt, I have happened upon the pleasure of meeting you, Fair Josie. Which was the greater gift, I can't say.

AND see people's poetry and their own recital of it. You have given her credit for lighting the spark of creative flame, that fuels your pen. May her memory never fade. Thanks for sharing!
