Glass slippers and,
Faery's wings,
Are nothing but stories,
And broken dreams,
Fantasies and,
Lost memories.
The Knight in Shinning armor,
Is just a little too late,
While Prince Charming is,
Busy with the Wicked Witch you hate,
And the Dragon holding you prisinor,
Isn't a foe of his.
So what else is there,
For a Princess like you to do?
When the Knight and even your Prince,
Have no interest in a girl like you,
But seem all for the 'bad' and 'naughty',
Instead of a young girl of innocnece?
You could change to fit their needs,
Change for the attention,
You could stay just as you are,
And give up all the affection,
You could cry and be confused,
And just sit while your heart scars.
Or you can slip to peace,
Slip to the bliss of dreams,
Just lie down and go to sleep,
And ignore the world as it seems,
You can forget the pain you know,
And save your heart for Him to keep.
