As the flames leaped higher
we hung onto our passion
Our paradise fell to our feet
Crumbling to dust as if our
own touch was the one destroying it
As we took the beaten path back to
our originality the rivers of passion
dried from the heat of the burning paradise
and the mountains of our love crumbled
to mix with the wasted ashes
We took our separate ways
mine to save the fallen paradise
and yours to create a another
Yours never failed or falter
like a silent stone on a sunny beach
mine swirled and swirled
like a endless fog and smoke
But separated neither of us
could create such a paradise
as the one the was lost
