If times starts to end
promise one thing
take my hand and lead me
away to a faraway place
Where we'll be safe
Where we can say
from a time immemorial
We loved each other
that love itself conquered
all death and despair
that we only had to escape
lay down your silver gun
our part of this war is over
Alas Here we are my fair lover
Here at the end of our road
How we got here was a mystery
We crossed rivers that flowed
and pits that sank beneath our feet
We just got here but its already crumbling
in our hands as the grains of sand silently fall
Let's watch as the flames leap higher
taking paradise to a flaming cinder
