When the stars die
In darkest night
The end is nigh
I give up the fight
But somewhere inside
A flicker gleams,
Is that hope,
The deadliest dream?
As darkness surrounds
I cling to the light,
Until it, too, is slain
By the deadening night
So up I stand
Armed with my hate,
Defended by my emotionless soul,
To deny the darkness, and survive
Through the darkness I emerge
My weapon dull,
My shield broken,
I collapse on the other side
This is a side
Filled with warmth,
Light shining,
And people loving
And so, again I stand,
But this time
I stand differently,
Changed.
I stand here,
Disarmed by love,
A stronger person for having learned
Love is a lie
Fate is yours to make
Death is not the end
And life is ours,
So why wait?

sweeet
this is incredibly darling. tho sad and has the hint of a darkness, it is a representation of the fight. the fight for life, the fight for love. the fight for the will to fight and keep fighting.
tell your friend it's wonderful.
