I feel your pain for I'm going through the same,
with my Too-sweet a border collie going down soon they say.
She is fifteen and her kidneys are failing and a heart murmur ,
but I will hold her till the end for sure .
I know my Toot-sweet will be in heaven ,
for it's Gods creatures you see.
They have no way of doing wrong,
so they will run again and be free .
I know this for a fact and yes I will cry,
for I feel before I see her again it will be a long time.
She will always run and play within my memories,
and in knowing she is in heaven through my memories I shall see.
So just as part of my family my dogs are my kids ,
and I will treasure them always just as I did.
So make something special with the collar and know,
and take the love for your pet everywhere you go.

For if it has a heart then he carries it home to heaven a free place to roam then as one day we are called home he will be waiting for the love he had always known . Your story truly touched my heart for my 15 year old friend only has a few days but Im loving her and I think she knows

awww patty..im so sorry to hear about your border collie..me sister gwen had to have her cat joanna put to sleep this year through cancer..i held her until she went..cryed me eyes out i did..xxx

This is a very touching poem and one which I can relate to all too well. When my two precious cats died several years ago, within six weeks of each other, I was heartbroken. One was sixteen years old, the other was seven.
I hope your words will help heal the pain and sorrow felt by Torn and Tortured. It's a beautiful piece.
