I have been sitting here in shock for hours.
The way you left so suddenly was astonishing.
The pain is burning through the walls I let down for you.
I should have guessed this much from a lover like you.
When I saw that look in your amber eyes I knew it was over.
You took my belongings, my hope, and my heart.
My head is spinning, and behind the curtain there is a picture.
In thee picture is a bleak, bittting memory.
In this picture their is you and me.
The moment is a blur.
The agony is short lived.
For the knife you thrust in my chest is hidden while I sit in this chair.
So you run off with your riches.
You go to her and I am left to my death.
But the only thing that hurts is knowing I had been fooled by an ancient trick.
