My Daughter

My Darling Daughter,

I have known you and loved you
before you were born.
I conceived you
before the dawn of time.
I know your triumphs and falls.
I know each hair on your body,
each breath you've ever taken.
I know each tear you've cried.
I hold them all in my jar.
In me you live and I in you.
You are my child, made to be like me.
I chose you before I created the world.
You were not a mistake nor an accident.
But were made with respect and awe.
It is I who formed you in the womb with care.
I determined when you would arrive on this earth
And I know when you will leave to return to me.
I am not distance but as near as the air around you.
It is my joy and desire to lavish you with love.
I offer you more than your earthly parents
For I am the perfect Father.
Every good gift is yours and given to you by me.
I am your provider. I meet all your needs.
I have planned for you a hopeful future
Because I love you and my love is everlasting.
I desire for you to be with me always and I with you.
My thoughts of you out number the stars in the sky
and the sand by the sea.
I will never cease to do good for you and to you.
You are my treasured possession.
You are mine and I am yours.
I will show you great things that will awe you.
Delight in me and your heart will desire good things
and I will give them to you with great joy and abundance.
I am the source of your desires.
I am able to do more for you than you could ever think or imagine.
I am your comforter and greatest encourager.
When you are hurting I am close. I feel what you feel.
As a shepherd carries his precious lamb
So I carry you near and close to my heart.
One day I will wipe away all your tears
and you will cry no more.
I love you as I love my son, Jesus.
You are my daughter in whom I am well pleased.
I am for you and not against you.
Nothing can stand against you.
I count no sin against you.
They are forgotten.
I've buried them the ocean.
They are as far from me
As the East is from the West.
Jesus died so you and I could be reconciled,
So we could be together forever.
Nothing will separate my love from you.
I have always been Father, and will always be Father,
your Father, your Dad.
