Mushroom cloud released shrouded reason,
unhinged harmony replaced by hostile actions
to bend will, bruise with iron fist
when Spirit winced.

or Starve them of necessary incandescent Light.
Shoulder to shoulder, the oppressed stood afraid
during inspection while men in uniform undressed
shredded Dignity with threats to annihilate their world;
eat every man, woman and child alive
from the inside out.
Cruelty hand picked human apples, cored Faith.
Let loose worms who intruded demands
while Minions spoke in speech, lisped Armageddon
as fact along twisted Fear behind backs.
Salvation shamed, parched mouths taped shut
except for the few who fought without violence
to continue in Honor of those lives lost
so their exhausted efforts to spread Peace
would not be in vain.
