Hand gliding down my neck,
across collarbones, and rounded shoulders,
leaves a shimmering gleam of lotion in it's wake.
I watch you in the mirror,
rubbing crimson onto my lips with a fingertip.
Your hand presses against the small of my back,
and I whisper chuckled secrets,
lips grazing your ear.
Music moves our bodies,
blazing and throbbing through our veins.
I press a kiss to your jaw;
sweetly scented hair tickles at your nose.
As the taxi drives us home,
your hand rests on my thigh,
and mine upon your arm.
My eyes drink you in like wine,
and we share a smile.
Author notes
I wanted to try and reproduce a memory .. not as it was when it happened, but as you remember it that night, curled in bed with a smile upon your face. Warm, and fuzzy in your mind.
I hope I managed to capture that, and hope that you enjoyed it.

Very Romantic
I liked the intimacy shared in this piece.
There was a definate connection of feelings
and emotion. The anticipation of so much more
as lovers made their way to chambers of love.
Nicely written.
