T H E E N D

Across the street from a gas station
lies a homeless man
huddled up in a corner
trying to find warmth
it's 5am-
  the C O L D part is O V E R
but it is still below freezing
his wet clothes on his back
is all he has
his stomach aches in hunger
this is the second or M A Y B E third day?
he can never tell

he bows his head in shame
as people stare
look at him
and W O N D E R
W H Y is he homeless
D R U G S
D R I N K S
they want to help
that is what he knows
but he never knows why they
D O N ' T

his pain is to much
he's to C O L D
he closes his weary eyes
and
E N D S
the pain

    D O N ' T- my favorite part

you certainly communicated your feeling well,i think that you as a poet have feelings as your most valuable asset, so whenever you develope a stong feeling go and write it away, i know you will write very interesting stuff.
let me know when you have new poems, please
