~Unexpected Day's~

As twilight twinkles tiny raindrops

reflect soft pools of tears

from long held secrets of yesterdays.

To tell would be to admit the pain of

the trust I had in you.

Before life became tinted and aged.

When a laugh was the only medicine to

heal a wounded wing.

When fun was the key of expression of a

young life well lived.

There is no potion to turn back time

only re-winds of memories.

So for now I will sit within my

kaleidoscope snippets under aged

umbrella.

Saved for these unexpected day's.
