A poem about the irony of racism when we all come from similar origins, and are basically the same.
I was asked to explain some of the words so here it is:
VOLKERWANDERUNG: Basically mean "wandering of the people" referring to when the early humans left their home in Africa and spread across the globe.
GOBENEAU: A 19th century writer who was theorised that white people were superior to other humans.
DER STURMER: A Nazi newspaper.
OTTOMON: As in the Ottomon empire (part of which is now Turkey) which was a multi-ethnic region that thrived but eventually collapsed in, among other things, racial discontent.
HOMO-SAPIENS AFER: Linnaeus put humans in four catagories, with Homo-spaiens afer (basically African men) at the bottom.
LINNAEUS: Another theorist who thought white European's were supreme and based his theories on physical features such as skull size.
JEW PALES: Pales were basically areas where certain ethnic groups were forced to live, most notably Jews.
TARTAR: Ethnic minority persecuted in Eastern Europe and Russia
ROMA: Ethnic minority persecuted by the Nazi's as being gypsies.
NANKING: In reference to the rape of Nanking when Japanese soldiers raped and murdered million of Koreans and Chinese.
OKHRANA: The name of the Soviet secret police before it became the KGB.
