Open Road

Open
The door of life
Take your bike and your wife
Do not let anything stop you
Highway
Travel across the open road
a new place to call home
the mountains pass
beauty

Blue sky
Meets the dark road
In the forest of trees
The horizon is left behind
Across
The open road I will travel
The dirt and the gravel
Motorcycle
Riding

I really enjoyed this poem. I felt like I was going cross country on the back of a motorcycle seeing the sites. Enjoyed the read! Thank you for entering my contest.

Well.....with the exception of Wife...I like this entry :)

    My Partner is a Guy...hehe ~

    1st stanza....*Travel across the open road................2nd stanza......The open road I will travel*

Both penned in different Form........I always like to go forward in thought....not backwards :)

.....and yes, there is lots of dirt & gravel to play on with our bikes ~

Nice entry and great Form with aesthetics ~

Perfect count as well.....thank you so much for entering ~

    God bless you!
