Fallen angels
meteor past
in their endless display
through moonlit skies
echoing frustration
in desparate cries
It is the season
of falling stars.
The shower of the forgotten
blinks into existence
and streak above
speaking of anger
sometimes in love
Their trails are brightly lit
in their magnificent journey
of dares
that ascends and descends through
heaven's luminous stairs
The light from yonder satellite
shines pathways into the starlit nite
as Luna screams
from out of her dark
The moon is full
and bright
at the goodbye of midnight

Sorry!
I'm a feeble old man who has alzheimer's. I tend to forget the simple things. I have corrected and placed the prompt and author. Take care, Luna
