I've been standing on an edge
But let's tell you something
That you don't already know
Could be jumping to my death
But no one would mind at all
This tornado of my thoughts
Is pushing me, is pulling me
Like it won't hurt to plummet
Promise to catch me when I fall
And it's your voice I'm hearing
But I'll keep standing on an edge
Hoping that someone will save me
Because I know the words you say
Are nothing but false promises
Of eternal life in your arms

Ahh the metaphor of the tornado!
This is quote a good rendition I must say. I really enjoyed this one, but of course nothing like a tragic love story ended horribly wrong because of a selfish pig of a man.
The last two lines I really must say...I hear the general meaning all the time, but I have never heard it expressed in these words with such finesse. It was really elegant the way you put it.
Great job!

PS. Thanks for the congrats...I'm really happy you enjoyed Enflamed Paradise.
