I've reached the summit
of depression's fallout
to find lavender-scented
boulders dramatically tumbling
from once impressive heights.
As I'm sure you've been here,
rescuing kittens atop makeshift
ladders of bones and bronze,
you have left as sure without
suitable recompensation to
the resurrect a discontinuum
known to many as my ragnarok of mind.
I'll hope to find, in your passing
glance towards the broken horizon,
wishes for renewed decisions on
plated silver. I'm gone with likely
surreptitiousness, from chewed pencil
tips and protracted illnesses, and lost
within a fragile record.

this is probably one of the only entries that really fits what i was looking for with this contest.
i don't know if it's just because we've been through similar experiences,
but the imagery in this poem really struck me.
the last stanza was my favorite,
& although i think the ending could have been stronger,
i love this write and good luck in the contest.
