These are my visions of you.

I see you as the wild flower,
the golden buff, spring buttercup,
a splash of dew that holds a hue,
of dappled sunshine, pooling up.

The songbird bounding through the glen,
through emerald glade,'neath pastel dawn
the morning breeze that stirs the trees,
the doe eyes of the yearling fawn.

You're  all of these and so much more,
the rapturous song of life to me.
you're all that I am living for,
and if I had eternity,

you'd be a vision lovelier,
with every day I should behold,
a splendor I could not conceive,
till each new morning did unfold
.
