To Be Humble

This artistic nature means nothing
If I do not wash the dishes,
If I follow the dark path
That is protected by witches;
Where no man with mars west should go,
Only humbleness to know
The direction of my soul.

I like it. It's hard to explain why, it just makes sense in a senseless sort of way and strikes a cord. Like I said, I like it, simple yet saying so much.

    good

I liked it, the last two lines are beautiful...
I just had a little trouble with the way it's set up.
The rhyming scheme, if it's there, is a little confusing...

Overall though, it was a great read.
    Good job...

    Great Poem

This was very nice. You have brought out the beauty of humility in a thought provoking and enlightening way. I agree, this is very good in so few words. Being humble is the root of all good, just like Pride is the root of all things despicable. I'm glad to know there are people who value this treasure of humility. Nothing but good comes from it!

You sure know how to write a complex poem with so few words. It was a very enjoyable read my fellow poet.

Some are too humble, others not humble enough. There has to be a mid way that is acepetable to most. Easy to read and understand what you write about humility in these few lines. Net rhythm rhyme anda flow.

Humility - a virtue that's not highly rated in this day and age.

Hmm. Interesting. I wonder what brought that on. I like it. It seems to make a very good observation. And resolution about life. Tis cool.
