Pebbles a reminder of.... { Gold }

Missing image

Us..

As we ran together,

Hand in hand.

 

Waves kissed bare feet,

toes curling ,

to the movement of love.

 

You gave me a piggy back,

Boy what a ride...

 

Laughter filled the days,

and the nights we laid together,

Listening to the sea's whispers.

 

Making sand castles,

and hearts of pebbled stones,

Writing our names ,

two became one.

 

Songs sang in the wings of a Lark,

So softly written,

In the breeze finely tuned.

 

I wonder if they still remain,

Or washed away in those storms that day,

and took the love we once did share.

    This was so beautiful.. I really loved the emotion and imagery in this!! it was such a soft read as well!! it just rolled off the tongue!!

    SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL

    I wonder if they still remain,

    and took the love we once did share.

    I wonder - as many of us wonder what has become of our lost lovers and the love that we shared - now that it is gone and we have moved on. A very beautiful piece that I believe very many people will be able to relate to with wonderful images of two young people in love that touched me heart and soul!
    GOOD LUCK in this contest with it - and Thanks SO MUCH for sharing it with me this evening as this will be the last piece that I look at on AP tonight - as I have to be up before the morning sunlight.

    beatiful take on the promt julie you have painted some wonderful images within you poem its so beautiful sometimes to just sit and listen to the waves of the sea and be entwined with the one we love wonderful I loved these lines
