Midnight

The world is silent, but it's all the music the moment needs
The deep blue sky, so dark it's near black
Twinkling points of brightness sprinkled across nights vast canvas
The silver orb of the moon bathing the world in it's pale glow
The seeming tranquility of the chaotic world around
The fresh night air, undisturbed by daytimes frantic movement
Alone with the night, relief, peace
The serenity normally nonexistent is incredible
The beauty of midnight

Author notes

I was feeling poetic, hence the new poems. As usual, I find it impossible to judge my own work without the urge to throw it away, so I request your honest opinion. Any constructive criticism is always appreciated. I hope you enjoy it.
