So I looked up,
Into the night
That was dreaming with stars,
And they were all above me.
So I looked into your eyes
And all that I could see
Was love-
Love-
Love.
I heard your voice
A thousand miles away,
And I knew that we were close;
I heard your words
And I heard mine-
And I knew I was no ghost.
I was real-
I could feel
All the dreams
And futures
Swirling around me.
There were all these paths-
And yours was the one I’d choose,
And I would never
Want to lose that.
So I look up into the night,
With the thick stars,
And all the dreams around me;
Sometimes your face is in my eyes,
And you are all I see.
I want us to work
As if it was meant to be-
And if anything
Could ever be meant to be,
I would want this-
To fall into place,
With such grace
As I could not believe.
So I hear your voice
From a thousand miles away,
And I know that we are close.
I hear your words
And I hear mine,
And I know
I am no ghost.
I would touch your hand right now-
And hold you,
As if there was never a beginning,
And would never be an end.
I would let my words echo
Into the ends of forever,
And their diminishing edge
Would cut like a knife
Through all the other possibilities,
And the aching;
And let there be no more forsaking of the future.
-It is now a time to forsake the past.
It is now a time
To forsake the past.
And in this present,
Now I stand,
Looking up at the stars;
And I know our names, too,
Are written in light.
Sometimes I falter-
I know, sometimes,
I seem to be led down
A lesser path;
To be taken by despair,
To wash in tears
Like a bath.
But I know I will never falter
For long-
But I will keep falling so strong
For you.

I agree..sounds like a song and it seemed way too wordy. But then again, as a song it might flow better.

Wow..this is an amazing piece. Normally I will pick out a favorite stanza to comment on but it's really hard to do on this piece haha.

^ That was one of them but it was difficult to choose. Keep writing you really have a way with words!
