Every wish, that I could ever
make, on every falling star or
coin, tossed in the wishing well,
would be, to go back and vanish
that ugly year, when my world
was turned upside down
Dark secrets were kept from
us, lies were told, until the
news came out and we found
out, with the others in the
community around us
Close friends dwindled off
and everyone would talk
behind our backs, and I began
to seek solace in alcohol and
solitude from anyone
My life became a wreck, at
the age of twenty, and even
when I try to forget and move
on, it's still fresh in my mind...

Wow. This is a deep grab into your heart, and you've torn it out and displayed it to us all. So bold, and very well done - thanks very much for your entry.
