a Fairy's Dream Come True

Curled up and composed in sleep.

A little fairy is finally fast asleep.

Dreaming of the day,

When wings will come her way.

All her duties at last complete.

  Feeling only a little incomplete.

Knowing one day it will come,

When wings will come her way.

Never shy of her duties.

  Never ask why or when.

Always found by moon and starlight.

When wings one day come her way.

One night she lay so still.

There she lay aside the hill.

Stars worked wonders weavind tight.

When wings attached on the fairy that night.

This is a cute poem about a fairy waiting for her wings to grow. I like how it was the stars that did it. The rhyme flows quite well too!

    Thanks for entering my contest!

    Beautiful Write

This is a very precious write mac. It belongs in a child's nursery rhyme book. I can just hear the ooh's and aaah's of little voices.
