Love Lost

Standing motionless, dwelling in the sad dark past
For the pain you endured has crippled you severely
Leaving you emotionless, forgetting the good things
Unsure of what to do or what's worth striving for
You need someone there to guide you to the light
For the good of all bad is never too far away
All it takes is the want and understanding
To pursue such a desire to move on and be happy
Life's too short to live in depression and regret
Try to enjoy it as much as you can, because this is your ONLY chance!!!

Author notes

I guess this poem has to do with a lost loved one or a relationship ending bad. But if u can find anymore ways to relate then go for it.

    this poem reminded me of someone who has been hurt so much by life that they cant come back from there pain unless they have the love and understanding of someone very close it takes alot of time and effort but people that you care for are worth the wait a great poem

    There seems to be a lot of ways to relate to it, just being lost after losing someone and looking for someone to guide your through the time. Or being lost for any reason =]
