the cat runs after the mouse
and soon it'll be ready to pounce
he runs and stares and listens and hears
the meows are too many to count
the cat has pounced
he has cought something that weighs an ounce
he brings his gift to his owner
and lays it down and says "look what i have found"

We're in the same contest! Well I wish you so much luck and I hope we both get a place! Well done with this poem! It is very interesting, funny and disgusting (in a good way). I might sound a bit confusing but all I want to say is you are very talented and I know I've said it about a million times but GOOD LUCK!!! -
Good write...
Thank you for entering this contest, and I'm wishing you the best of luck!!!

This is really good

I was thinking of my next door neighbours cat when I was reading this. She's a cat who chases mice all the time and drops them around my neighbours feet
Cutely done
Great flow of the writing and words.
Good luck with your contest!
