Seek not to charge with whom they lie,
or bond perversion to their name;
Pray silent be and pass them by,
dare not by word or deed defame.
Let he who would that first stone throw,
the better of his own lusts know.
What madman here would choose a course,
all brutish hate and violence lined;
Or set himself, without remorse,
to join a faction thus maligned?
How sweet, how easy, love might ‘come,
could he but beat that het’ro drum.

I love to see an open mind at work. Especially in verse.

And yes, its true, people so easy and quick to point fingers and hate and yet we, each and every one, could have suffered similar fates. When the foots on the other shoe, or vice versa, we've no choice but to be and expect more leniency than we often e'er mete out.
