their hearts beyond the clouds,
heavy in weight
like smooth pebbles
as trickling streams
in continuous flow,
emptied into reservoirs
so bitter
with the rising of the sun
another majestic view appeared,
as an angel
of mercy and hope
feathering kindness
and compassion,
bestowing dreams
winged of courage
enriching the lives
of so many lost souls~

I know this poem does not do justice to this distinguished and remarkable man. He was most famous for being the first to climb Mt. Everest.
Following his ascent of Everest, he devoted much of his life to helping the Sherpa people of Nepal through the Himalayan Trust, which he founded. Through his efforts many schools and hospitals were built in this remote region of the Himalayas.
He was a man that made dreams become realities!

I find this to be a fitting tribute to a great man and I feel you do yourself an injustice by your author’s comments. If he were still alive then I am sure he would love this dedication to him, not so much for conquering a mountain, but for helping to conquer poverty.
Bravo sis
