I am not my own.
Jesus bought me
with His blood.
On the cross at Calvary, where
His mercy flowed in a
flood.
I have consecrated my
self to Him.
I gave my life to Christ,
just because He loved me so,
that for me He paid the price.
I will be faithful, Jesus!
I'll be faithful and so true,because
no one else could ever love me like You do!

I know that You will keep me from falling
into sin...
even though, if I mess up, You help me
up again.
But, with Your grace, living deep within,
I know that I have the power over evil and
over sin.
Help me Lord, to remember, that it's not by
my own strength...
that when I yeild my all to You, You help me
go the length.

By myself, I am nothing-it's only by your
grace.
I know that when this life is over, I will
see You face to
face.
Lord Jesus, how I love You!I can hardly
wait for that day!
To be with You forever, Jesus,this is what
I pray!

    Change and growth move people

    Giving what is not yours to give is not a gift but returning something to the owner-a requirement. Giving yourself as someone who has Free Will and knows their inherent value is the gift.

      True!

      What I am saying, is that Jesus died for me and because He loved me enough to do that so that I could belong to Him, I gave my self and my life to Jesus without reserve. As one who was enslaved to selfishness and sin, and set free by Christ, I accepted His atonement for my sins and gave my life to Him in return.I love Jesus because He loved me first and gave His life for me-just as a parent might run in front of a moving car to snatch their child out of harms way.That's what Jesus did for me, because He loves me and values me that much.I find my worth in Jesus, because He loves me that much!I know that He created me with certain gifts and talents, but I was lost, and He found me and rescued me.That's why I love Him so much that I of my free will have surrendered my life to Him!I know that I'm the Apple of His eye and that He loves me more than any human being can love me.I have experienced His love in different levels and I know how beautiful He is.He is Love itself!

    Sorry to say, but I am an atheist, however I do admire this blind faith in the one that can guide and save us. I do think though we should give more credit and/or responsibility to our own lives. All that aside, your piece has a lot of depth and I believe you have expressed and opened your soul quite well here. Great Title!
