Nocturnal Passion

You stir, as I draw near

with hungry lips

that find their way

in the dark.

Your warm body writhes

as I touch it softly,

even in deep sleep,

you are easily aroused.

Sliding along your form, I stop

briefly, to sniff, like a snake

traversing a palm tree,

overtaken by wild jasmine.

And somewhere, amid dreams with

waking sighs of pleasure, we both find

our reward, only to drift back

into peaceful slumber.
