Sit silently by
Speak not
For strangers travel among us
Searching out those
Who soon will lead
The children from this madness.
Sit silently by
And pray
To a God above
They know naught of.
Call to him in silent pleading
To light the way for children.
Sit silently by
And trust in fate
That those who know speak of
And sway in winds of war
And shadows of death
And bury our children
Again.

excellent entry....
vivid touches of dark using your air wisely.
We could hear your voice taunt us...and unravel our
hearts to care!
OH...my heart does moan for our apathy to burn in the
fire's of hell...for we the ordinary are many...if
we only knew of that power..repeated thru our histories.
way to write and feast the fire's bright!
ears/Seattle good courage in you!

This is so sad. Eloquent and deep, just the tiniest bit of anger overwhelmed by "Sit silently by....."
