One with the One

Is it true that
a woman should not
find her completion
within the embrace of a man?
I've...heard it said that
if you are not complete
in and of yourself...
you are...dysfunctional.
That you should not
need the imprint
of another on your soul
in order for you to feel whole...
and if this is the truth...
then I guess I'm the proof
that sometimes you can live a lie.
Because I...
need to be one with the one...
the one who was chosen for me...

Back in Genesis God laid Adam down
and from his rib, Eve was born...and
I believe that there is indeed
an Adam for every Eve...
every little girl born in this world
is the missing rib for a man somewhere
and sometimes women walk around incomplete....
and there's men that
never experience having that void
the empty place where that rib once was
filled in...bringing him to completion.

I am but the rib...Eve...
searching for her Adam...
that she may be complete....
that she may be one with her one...
From the rising to the setting of the sun
day to day life could
bring me every joy imaginable...
yet I will never truly be whole...
never genuinely know what happiness is...

Until I am one...with my one.

Please tell me what you think

This is the essence of relational functionality that's missed and neglected in the sense of it all. This piece brings clarity to the scope of the purpose that BOTH have to each other in making it work.

    Well done!!

Woman is the only creature not made from dust. Woman derives her origin from Man. "The Lord God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man and she shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man. You have written a wonderful poem.

devotion to God is where you've taken me; and further devotion is living. A bit disorganized around void; you might revise; devotion! Thank you
