Uphill, downhill, side to side
Moving, grooving, slip 'n' slide
Constant rocking back and forth
Heavier, lighter, test your worth
The boat currently rocking all around
Some wish iron stomachs abound
Some just have it, others know tricks
Everyone else just gets sick
Author notes
I busted my ankle pretty bad the night after I wrote this. Funny, I see all the most sober people stumbling around like they were drunk, and everyone hanging on to the bulkheads to move. At least I had a reason to use a bulkhead, they just suck with balance.

sounds like my life aboard the boat (lobsterboat). I had the best of balance my whole life, then i moved off that rock. The day that i met you, i was coming off the ferryboat. It was really rocky and i found very quickly that i had lost my balance, my sealegs. It was very depressing. I wish i had read this that night.

"At least I had a reason to use a bulkhead, they just suck with balance." You have such a fucking way with words Will.
Nice poem. I might be joining the Navy myself.
