the frequency of my worldview
even an arriviste may doubt
as I perceive there is no glass
to be filled or poured out
emotion’s turn man into a pretzel
that will eventually come undone;
so, a situation cannot be a vessel
for what test could it overcome?

I guesss I wasn't clear about what I was looking for. While your entry does contain rhyme, albeit slanted, it does address the prompt very nicely and even takes it to the next level, at least philosophically. What intrigues me most is that everyone in this contest opted for the "author identity hidden" option, which I don't understand. Your entry should stand alone, completely independent of your background information.
