Can you see me?
Just the same as your tragedies
But I am not the product of deception
I have walked a fine line
In between your love and my past
You've fallen from grace
And they turned their cheek
But isn't this our song?
Our anthem towards redemption?
Hold on
My hand can offer you refuge
I know where you've been
And I see where you are going
I do
I do
I do
See you
My heart will linger here
Even though
You don't see me at all...

Wow.. Nice poem. I like the middle.. area (I can't really say stanza.. but.. yeah..) The part where it is:
You've fallen from grace
And they turned their cheek
But isn't this our song?
Our anthem towards redemption?
It's very.. questioning, and.. (See, commenting when your half awake is bad.. My apologies.) for some reason, I've always liked the phrase, "fall from grace."
I also particularly like the line "I have walked a fine line / In between your love and my past" It gives me the image of actually walking on a thin wire.. Very nice.
Good luck!
