They read the writes
Ask,"Is everything ok?"
Knowing damn well
That despair is in the air
Pour my heart out on paper
But for what, understanding?
Who am I to really care
If others understand me or not?
Bury myself in useless activities
Distracting, always distracting with work
Escape from the brutal reality
That inflicts so much pain, so unbearable
Where's the answer to this puzzle?
Obviously not lying
In the bottom of a bottle of tequila
Call the ex-wife, maybe she'll have an idea
Please tell me what you think

wow.. that was something else. I think you probably didn't fully understand this.. but it's "poetry" so I guess it can interpreted lots of ways. You know you don't bother me and that I'll always talk to you.

I can really relate to the message behind this poem (Oh, and it's great to see you about again
Hope you are otherwise well!) In fact, I could have easily written something similar if my muse hadn't vanished... and of course, yours would outshine mine anyday
In the past I have written to express myself, but I think sometimes people believe we wish to delve deeper into whatever is published. It's sometimes frustrating...
Take care

Steven,
I'm sorry if it bothered you for me to ask if everything was alright when I read your last poem. I meant it more to let you know that I am here for you than I did actually asking. I hope everything turns out better for you, and I hope to hear from you soon.

It wasn't anything you did hon. I had people asking me if everything is alright ALL damn day and was just annoyed. Thanks for actually giving a damn though. That's kind of rare for me.
